Our history and services

Salina Travel is one of the oldest Travel Agencies in Greece with a long

history of 25 years in the travel business.

We are proud members of:

IATA – PETAGA – HATTA – Greek Chamber of Commerce –


Greek-Italian Chamber of Commerce.


The company offers quality travel services (standard or tailor

made) with the utmost reliability.


It is based in the centre of Athens offering a wide range of 24-hour travel services for Business and/or Leisure purposes

including and not limited to:


Airline Tickets for individuals or groups with scheduled or

charter flights.

Wholesale of air tickets,

Ferry and train tickets,

Hotel Accomodation worldwide,

Cruises and Yatch chartering,

Car rental services, Transfers (escorted or not) by taxi, coach or limo service,

Tours and Excursions,

Programs for Incentives,

Packages for Exhibitions (local/international),

Conference planning, organizing and management,

Destination planning (outgoing - incoming),

Staff implant protocol (subject to a certain turnover),

Various services including passport, visa issuing and Airport Assistance.



Streamlined operations

Services provided are based on an information flow exchange between

the two entities involved.  Procedures followed include a 24-hour

assistance on:


Notification by customer of his travel arrangement requirements through phone or e-mail,

Evaluation of the market in regard to the requested services.  This will be done by an appointed travel consultant through an extensive network of strategically appointed partners and/or collaborators worldwide.

Identification of the most suitable and economical package with  consequent bookings, and final customer notification,

Delivery of documents to customer’s premises by in-house couriers, e-ticketing, or other arrangements,

Invoicing and payment procedures (as per set agreement).

Financial development

The company’s turnover has been increasing for the last 4 years

as a consequence of its expansion and increasingly successful

business conduct.


Indicativelly an average of 8% increase in turnover has been

recorded during the same period. Additionally we are proud to

have achieved the 24th position amongst the top 60 most profitable

travel agencies in Greece for the year 2002 (as per Stat Bank

study concluded in 2003).

We are fully computerized under a full-proof computer network.


Investing in the field of technology, the company maintains a state

of the art, in-house computer system allowing us to be on line on a

24-hr basis with greek and international providers.


In addition the company also has at its disposal international

computer reservation system networks of multiple usage

(Amadeus,Worldspan, on-line hotel and ferry bookings).



Our people

Currently our staff consists of 17 professionals with an average work

experience of 15 years in the field. The latter proves a valuable

asset to the services offered.


In addition we have a strict policy on Management and Staff skill

our staff whose continuous training keeps our services up to date in

an ever developing industry.
